Mr Beniston Makes an Amazing Discovery!

26th March 2021

The children in EYFS, Ladybirds Class, were shocked this week to hear the news that our very own Mr Beniston had discovered what he believed to be dinosaur eggs in the school orchard.
“At around 7.30 am I found what looked like a large birds nest and on closer inspection I was amazed to see three dinosaur eggs!”, reported a shaken Mr Beniston.

The intrepid, fearless explorers in Ladybirds went out to investigate the discovery. On arrival in the orchard, they did indeed confirm Mr Beniston’s suspicions, a large nest and  three large brown dinosaur eggs. The children brought the eggs safely back to the classroom where after two days of safe keeping, three baby dinosaurs emerged! A very exciting week for everyone involved.
