International Food Day

11th April 2018
On Wednesday our KS1 children kicked off their new topic 'We are what we eat' with an international Food Day. We travelled to 10 different countries from Mexico to Nepal and tasted food from each country.  The children also took part in either a traditional game/activity or made a craft item at each place, getting their passport stamped at each destination.  We tried everything from nachos and poppadums to camembert and paella. Most children were very adventurous and keen to try the foods on offer.  A big thank you must be given to all the parents that donated food or came to help with the activities. The KS1 team would like to thank you for your support.
